Meet the Cornerstone Crew, the namesake of our new development! Following the 1999 tornadoes that decimated central Oklahoma, the group jumped in to help. That same original crew has faithfully volunteered weekly with Habitat for over 25 years. Today, this skilled team could practically build a house themselves.

Fundraising is now underway for Phase Two of development at Cornerstone Creek. This includes laying the next infrastructure section: streets, curbs, water, electrical lines, and more. Meanwhile, the (visible) fruit of Phase One’s infrastructure is underway as we finish building the first 90 homes!

Habitat builds smaller, more affordable homes. More affordable homes eases pressure on limited affordable rental options. This also increases the total number of affordable homes in the Oklahoma City area. These homes cycle into the general market.
